Studio update! Where we’ve been and where we’re planning on going in 2023

Whoops, our bad! It’s been a while since we’ve shown our faces, read the full blog post below to find out why that is.
Well well well, what can we say except it’s bloody good to be back! 2022 was a crazy year that brought us a lot of excitement, growth and our fair share of lessons. But before we get stuck into all the exciting stuff, a quick apology for our absence over the last few months.
We decided in June of 2022 to take a little break from social media; our client books were totally full, we’d massively overestimated ourselves and unfortunately realised that we were no longer providing the same value that we had been earlier in the year. That step back turned from a few weeks into a few months (don’t time fly) but we’re back now with some exciting new offers and services that we can’t wait to share!
A move into digital assets
Something that came up over & over again in 2022 when we were making connections and building relationships was that there are LITERALLY HUNDREDS of fascinating and exciting female-led businesses within our reach. And we wanted (and still want) to work with every single biz owner we’ve ever met – honestly, you lot are so amazing. Unfortunately we’ve learnt the hard way that despite the fact that we live and breathe this shit, we’re still only a team of two. Project work with every single colourful, creative, visionary business that we cross paths with would leave us nothing more than hollowed out husks – so we needed to find a new way to reach a wider audience.
Custom Squarespace themes and digital brand assets!
We are currently working on a range of custom Squarespace templates that will offer small businesses the power to create their own Lucky Night website experience. These templates are not only expertly designed and coded to look phenomenal on every screen, but also to work beautifully with your own branding with absolutely no coding or hassle on your part.
Each template is pre-populated with strategic content prompts so all you have to do is fill in each section (and add/delete as many as you’d like), update colours, fonts & branding, and you’ll have a sales-ready, gorgeous website that you have complete control over.
Alongside these, we’re offering Canva templates for social media (currently Instagram & Pinterest) so that you can have consistent, impactful branding across all your touchpoints. It’s DIY digitals without the stress, overwhelm and confusion. Instead, expect clear content cues, beautiful & intuitive design options and a feeling of immense, smug power when you sit back and say ‘I created that!’.
Why we love this next step for Lucky Night
As you would expect, these templates will carry a much lighter price tag than our one-to-one project work while still offering all the clever strategy, sales structure and scroll-stopping design of a Lucky Night website. This means that our services have become more accessible to a wider range of business babes, regardless of where you’re at in your journey.
We believe a great online presence is a must for all small businesses, including those not at the stage of larger investments. We’re confident that our new range of custom themes will perfectly bridge the gap between struggling new biz owner to superstar CEO so that you can get clear on your mission and start earning that money honeyyyy.
We will of course still be offering one-to-one project work (so make sure you come back to us once you’re earning bank, yeah?) but likely later in the year once we’ve built our storefront up and gathered some momentum. We’ll also be using all the information we picked up through last year’s projects to refine our packages so that we’re offering exactly what you need to make all of your digital dreams come true.
We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who’s stuck by us this last year (especially to all you lovely lot that reached out over Insta while we were away, we massively appreciate the support) and we hope you’re as excited as we are for what we have in store over the next few weeks.
